An infant was hospitalized with respiratory complications at Institute of Child Health, Park Circus, Kolkata, when negligence resulted in blunder due to a nurse on duty. She was trying to take away the tape attached to the finger of the right hand and accidentally sliced off the finger of 28-day old infant girl.

The child was facing difficulty in breathing soon after she was born on Feb 21. Family physician has recommended her parents to hospitalize the child.

Forest Enterprises Australia (FEA) is looking for equity partners. The company is taking this step since it wants to restructure its finances and requires a second party in being able to do so.

In an application sent to the Australian Securities Exchange, it has asked the exchange to extend the time for suspending its shares. FEA said that since it has begun to reduce its debt and secure more working capital, it needs more time to be able to prove its worth.

As of now, April 19 has been decided as the share suspension date. The timber company was asked to stop trading since February this year.

Asciano Ltd. has signed a contract with Sadleirs Transport for making long-term rail haulage system. The total worth of the contract is $150 million over the next seven years.

While Asciano is into the business of operating ports and rail roads, Sadleirs is into freight forwarding segment.

Pacific National is the parent company of Asciano and it would be managing the transport needs of Sadleirs' in between Melbourne and Perth. The company already looks after the transport rail vans system between Sydney and Perth.
