Abu Dhabi, Dec 01st, 2008 : Ministery of Labour has declared three days as Eid-al-Adha holidays for the private sector, starting from Sunday the 7th December
2008. The work in the private sector will resume from Wednesday the10th December.

A circular issued by the Minister of Labour HE Saqar Gobash today said that all the firms, establishments and companies in the private sector will observe the holidays.

The Ministery extended warm greetings to President HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of Emirates, and government and people of the UAE on this auspicious occasion.

The private sector is also to observe a one day holiday on Tuesday the 2nd December 2008 to mark the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the UAE National Day. (WAM/AB)
