TV industry strike ends
After days of watching the repeat telecast of favourite TV serials, there is good news for soap fans.
The impasses between TV workers and producers have been settled.
The strike of TV workers association -Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) demanding higher wages, better work conditions and more breaks between shoots has finally come to an end after six hour long negotiation meeting between producers and TV workers association.
According to the sources, two sides have reached a consensus on the issue, in which TV producers have given positive nod to the demands of the workers.
The strike has been on since the last 10 days.
The sources further revealed that the details of the compromise still remain unknown.
According to the reports, the programming of fresh soaps will commence within the coming couple of days.
