Shane Warne disappointed by unapproved musical on his cricket career

Shane WarneMelbourne, October 27: Aussie leg spinner Shane Warne is unsure whether he will attend the premiere of a musical chronicling his cricket career because its creator did not ask him for his approval.

He insisted that the makers of Shane Warne: The Musical should have consulted him about the title or subject.

"I''m disappointed that they can do a musical,'''' news. com. au quoted him as saying during an appearance at the MCG.

"It''s like unauthorised biographies, I''ve got 13 unauthorised biographies out there at the moment and that''s why I''m doing a book,'''' he added.

The Warne musical was conceived and written by comedian Eddie Perfect, who also starred in the musical ‘Keating!’.

Unlike former Prime Minister Paul Keating, Warne did not seem to be in a mood to endorse the musical, which opens in December.

"They should ask permission before they're allowed to do that, that''s just my thoughts,'' he said. (ANI)
