NKP Salve Challenger Series, which is due from October 23 to 26 in Cuttack, announced its plans as to which cricketer will hold the responsibility of leading the teams India Blue, India Green and India Red. 

The BCCI secretary, N Srinivasan on Sunday said, “We have decided to name Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Kaif and S Badrinath as captains of India Blue, India Green and India Red teams respectively.”

Each team will get an opportunity to play once against each other to decide as to who will be the finalists. The officials selected the three teams and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and released the final list.

Teams:

India Blue: Yuvraj Singh (captain), Ajinkya Rahane, Robin Uthappa, Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik, Ravinder Singh, Irfan Pathan, Yogesh Takawale, Ashok Dinda, Pradeep Sangwan, Amit Mishra, Arjun Yadav, Siddarth Trivedi, R Ashwin.

India Red: S Badrinath (captain), M Vijay, F Fazal, Manoj Tiwary, Rohit Sharma, Jaydev Shah, Abhishek Nayar, Wriddiman Saha, Praveen Kumar, L Balaji, Piyush Chawla, Vinay Kumar, Mohnish Parmar, Parthiv Patel.

India Green: Mohammad Kaif (captain), Shikar Dhawan, Naman Ojha, Suresh Raina, Cheteshwar Pujara, Saurabh Tiwary, Yusuf Pathan, Laxmi Rattan Shukla, Manpreet Gony, RP Singh, Pragyan Ojha, Rajat Bhatia, Abhinav Kumar, Pankaj Singh.
