Hindustan Sanitaryware is eyeing a four-fold increase in annual turnover to Rs 2500 crore by 2013-14 on the back of a greenfield glass manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh and expansion of ceramic and sanitaryware business. The company registered a turnover of Rs 575 crore during the last fiscal. The company claims that the increase would come on the basis of its expanding business in the field of glass and ceramic businesses. The company is presently busy in the development of new facility, which will manufacture glass containers. The plant will have an annual production capacity of 80 lakh tones and is expected to become operational by the first half of 2009. The company is targeting a turnover of Rs 1,000 crore by 2010-11.
