Jet Airways plans to inaugurate three flights from Pune by July 15
Country’s premier international airline, Jet Airways has announced that it will kick off direct flights from Pune to Hyderabad, Nagpur and Ahmedabad with effect from July 15.
The flight from Pune to Hyderabad and Ahmedabad would be daily direct flight whereas flights between Pune and Nagpur would operate six days a week.
While commenting on the occasion, Mr. Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, Jet Airways CEO said, “With several Indian and multi-national companies setting up operations in and around Pune, there has been a growing demand for greater air connectivity to and from Pune. With the launch of these flights, Jet will tap into the passenger demand on these sectors.”
As per the latest results Jet Airways net sales for the 12 months period ending Mar. 31, 2008 was Rs 88,111.00 million.
Shares of the company declined Rs 33.9, or 8.89%, to settle at Rs 347.55. The total volume of shares traded was 121,611 at the Bombay Stock Exchange (Wednesday).
