Pak to release Indian ‘spy’ today at Wagah Border

Lahore, July 1: Pakistan is slated to hand over an Indian spy who was jailed in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat jail for the past ten years, to Indian authorities at the Wagah Border today.

Pakistan’s Interior Ministry had yesterday issued the orders of his release.

Ram Prakash, the alleged Indian spy, was arrested from Sialkot in 1998 on the charges of spying, and later he was sentenced to ten years imprisonment by the special court after the spying charges against him were proved.

Ram Prakash, son of one Diwan Chand, belongs to Tawi district of Jammu and Kashmir. (ANI)
