CBI takes over Aarushi murder case probe
New Delhi, June 1 : The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against Dr. Rajesh Talwar, a man accused of killing his daughter in an initiative to begin its probe.
The CBI has formed a 25-member team led by Joint Director Arun Kumar to probe the case.
The sleuths from the investigating agency reached at Dr Talwar's Noida residence to interrogate Aarushi's mother Nupur Talwar.
The CBI had on Friday got a letter from the Centre to begin probe into the case.
Dr. Talwar was arrested on May 16 on the charges of killing his daughter.
Arushi, a class IX student of Delhi Public School in Noida, was found in her bedroom with her throat slit last Friday. A day later, Hemraj, the Nepali help of the Talwar household, who was initially named as prime suspect by Noida Police, was found dead on the terrace. His throat was also slit in a similar manner.
