BetMGM unveils revamped sportsbook app ahead of NFL Season Kickoff
BetMGM, one of most popular sports betting & online gaming platforms in the world, has officially announced the launch its updated app just in time for NFL Season Opener, featuring Detroit Lions vs. Defending Champs Kansas City Chiefs!
The newly launched exciting and upgraded sportsbook app/platform boasts "extensive evolutions," thanks to inclusion of features like same-game parlays and multistate functionalities wherever permitted.
Adam Greenblat, Chief executive Officer (CEO) of BetMGM, praised the new app and claimed that it has been developed and launched to provide players with a state-of-the-art sports betting platform to enjoy and have fun.
Expressing the app’s versatility, Greenblat said, “We developed our state-of-the-art sports betting platform to feature a variety of ways sports fans can engage. The next generation of the BetMGM app is a giant step forward in the sports betting experience, increasing the level of entertainment before, during, and after games.”
The company ensures a seamless transition for its existing customers as the newly launched sportsbook app automatically gets updated to the latest version upon opening.
To add to players’ excitement, BetMGM introduces a free-to-play $100,000 survivor pool for the NFL season. Participants can remain in the pool by picking a winning team each week. Participants can make just a single team selection over the 18-week regular season, and the remaining participants will split the $100,000 prize.
Moreover, the new app grants customers the flexibility to have access to their mobile accounts while in states where sports betting is legally permitted, which makes on-the-go wagering effortless. The company has also unveiled a new feature called "Same-Game Parlay+," which empowers bettors to merge same-game parlays into a "super parlay” for delivering significantly improved odds.
Unquestionably, the aforementioned innovative features of the new platform will enable BetMGM to better compete with the likes of DraftKings, Caesars Sportsbook, and FanDuel.
BetMGM is a 50-50 joint venture between casino operator MGM Resorts International and the Isle of Man-headquartered renowned sports betting entity Entain Group, which boasts ownership of a number of European sportsbook brands like Ladbrokes, bwin, Coral, and Sportingbet.
Currently, BetMGM’s primary focus is on the U.S. market, where it holds online sportsbook licenses in nearly two dozen jurisdictions, including Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Jersey, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wyoming. This extensive reach positions the company as a formidable player in the fast-growing U.S. sports betting landscape.
