As per reports, a 25-year-old man lost his vision when his girlfriend's family members invited him to her nuptials and beat him up in Channapatna.

Raghu, who is the resident of Induvalu village, has been shifted to a medical center for treatment.

Raghu, a poor youth from Doddabanandawadi village, said to have tied the nuptial knot with Anusha at a nearby temple and lived with her for some time.

He said Anusha's relatives promised that they would tie their knot at a marriage ceremony.

Anusha, after coming back to her house, desolated him and refused any love relationship or marriage with Raghu.

Disturbed by her statement, Raghu approached police officer Kwashalendra Kumar and wanted the police official to help him.

The district police shut the case as Anusha refused love relationship with Raghu.

In the meantime, Raghu and his pals were invited to Anusha's marriage ceremony on Wednesday.

Anusha's relatives are said to have picked up a quarrel with him and hit him hard.

During the fight, Raghu lost his vision.

Channapatna police lodged a case. The accused have fled village.
