Microsoft unveils Zune 2 in many variants

The well-known high-tech company Microsoft presented its brand-new generation door-to-door media player the new Zune 2. It has bleak big 3.2 8 inch display and slim body. Moreover, the new flash based Zune with 4 GB and 8 GB model which has smaller size and smaller screen; both can be found in lots of colours such as pink, glossy red, green, and black.

The new Zune can share media files through wireless connection with the rest of the Zune owners. The management is exerted through Zune Control Pad, an very helpful touch-sensitive button to navigate the device.

“Twenty years ago we bet the company on an integrated productivity suite of word processing, spreadsheets and presentations, and we changed the way people work,” said Bill Gates, Microsoft’s chairman. “Today we’re making big bets on games, music, video and connecting these entertainment experiences to help change the way people play.”

Some other betterments in the fresh Zune 2 are the wireless synchronizing and a new DRM free media store, intended to enhance your music-mode experience.

“For something we pulled together in six months, we are very pleased with the satisfaction we got,” said Bill Gates in an interview Tuesday. “The satisfaction for the device was superhigh. The satisfaction on the software actually is where we’d expect to see a huge uptick this year. It was just so-so on the software side.”

The 80 GB model of Zune will have the price of $249 while its 4 GB and 8 GB extra compact flash-based counterparts will cost for $149 and $199.99.
