Ajay Devgan In Dock For Smoking In Public Again!
Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan again fell into trouble owing to his smoking habit.
Devgan, who had already been penalized in Chandigarh because of public smoking, was again found smoking openly in Goa while shooting for his upcoming flick 'G3'.
A complaint has been lodged to the State Tobacco Control Cell and the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to punish Ajay with graver penalty.
This is not the first time a famous person has been caught smoking in the public.
Previously, Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have also been pulled into legal troubles because of directly or indirectly promoting smoking. Other celebs like Tusshar Kapoor and Arshad Warsi also had to bear the brunt of smoking while on a film shoot in Margao.
It has also been suggested that habitual law breakers should be send to jail.
National Organisation for Tobacco Eradication (NOTE) general secretary Shekhar Salkar also said that Rs 500 should be charged as a fine for the first time, and the second time, the penalty will be Rs 5000.
For the third instance, the person should be put behind bars for 6 months together with a fine Rs 5000.
This kind of an offense which sadly the celebs don't even consider as an offense is getting very casual for them. To stop this, recommendations need to be followed so that the film industry learns the lesson and does not carry on with such immature behavior. (With Inputs from Agencies)
