Most Tele-callers are mentally ill: StudyAccording to a recent research, Tele calling has become the world's toughest job. This job is done in a pressure chamber. The job is tough because you have to take care of our vocal, mental as well as physical health.

The statement can be helpful to a $13.7 billion firm to improve the health and efficiency of near about 220000 tele callers. The research was done on 600 employees from 13 call centers in UK.

The illness levels of call center employees are extremely high. This is due to the target oriented environment, huge background noise and high sales goal. If the target is not achieved then employees have to stretch there shift timing. This elongated shift is leading to stress and soar throat and hampers the efficiency level.

The number of sick leave in increasing rapidly and the productivity of the company is also being affected. So the connection between vocal health and general health should be considered as a safety issue.

The elevated stress level will be developed into flu or other disease and in logic the employees overrate the complexity they have. This logic may drive them to take a work leave.
