Srinagar, Oct 22 : A 10-year-old boy was killed and a girl injured when a mine exploded in Gurez sector of north kashmir's Bandipura district Thursday, a senior police official said.

The boy and his cousin were fiddling with a mine in Telial area of the Line of Control in Gurez sector.

"The 10-year-old boy died on the spot and his cousin was critically injured when a mine they fiddled with exploded," a police officer said. (IANS)
