Roger Daltrey to headline 10th Rock'n'Roll Fantasy Camp
London, September 21: Roger Daltrey from ‘The Who’ and Joe Walsh from ‘The Eagles' will be among renowned rock stars who will perform at the 10th Rock'n'Roll Fantasy Camp in Las Vegas in November.
The Rock'n'Roll Fantasy Camp brings music lovers an opportunity to jam and record with their favourite rock stars.
"Rock'n'Roll Fantasy Camp reminds me of what it used to be like when we first started, when we were rough and ready... it's fantastic," the BBC quoted Daltrey as saying.
The five-day event culminates in a live concert, and gives fans a chance to join their music heroes on stage.
Slash from ‘Velvet Revolver’, Vince Neil from ‘Motley Crue', Jack Bruce from Cream and Nicko McBrain from Iron Maiden are the other musicians who will participate in the event.
It costs 4,731 pounds to attend the five-day event, titled the ‘Ultimate Rock Star Experience Veteran’s Day Weekend’.
Fans attending it will be allowed to download original songs recorded at the camp via iTunes.
David Fishof, who used to produce rock tours including Ringo's All-Starr Band and The Monkees' 20th Anniversary tour, first started the event.
Camps also take place in Hollywood, and at the Abbey Road Studios in London. (With inputs from ANI)
