UK Sikh cop wins discrimination case
London, Oct. 2 : A Brit Sikh police officer, who was told to remove his turban during training, has won his discrimination case.
Police constable Gurmeal Singh, 31, is in line for a payout after being made to do the riot course while off work with stress, reports the Daily Express.
A tribunal ruled yesterday that this was harassment.
The Greater Manchester Police officer’s lawyer called the judgment “fantastic”. (ANI)
