Aptech, Falgo Group to setup various IT Training Centers in Brazil
Mumbai-headquartered Aptech Ltd, has entered into a 51:49 joint venture with Falgo group to set up various IT training centers in Brazil.
Under the arrangement, the company will setup its first centre in Brazil up by August.
Latest reports suggest that, investment in the Brazilian venture is pegged at $1 million. However, the final disclosure from the companies has yet to come.
The company said, all courses, which it offered in Brazil would be in line with the Brazilian university programmes.
The IT firm has plan to enhance its network in the country to around 50 in the next three years. The company aims to have around 100 centers in Latin America in the next three to four years.
Presently, the company has its education centers in Mexico, El Salvador and Peru.
It should be noted that Brazil is the largest IT market representing more than 45% of total investments for the sector in the region.
After Latin America, the company plans to enter West Africa, where it is already planning a foray over the next two-years.
Aptech, a well-reputed retail & corporate training solutions provider, has presence in over 35 countries globally with a large presence in China (200 centers), Vietnam (30), Russia (20) and Nigeria (15).
In India, the company has around 450 centers which it plans to raise up to around 550 centers over the next three years.
