Washington, Apr 23: American reality television personalities Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s wedding on April 25 is nothing more than a fake ceremony for MTV, it has emerged.

Saturday''s wedding at the Westminster Presbyterian is a bogus ceremony for the series finale of ‘The Hills’.

"It’s all set up by the producers of MTV to get people to watch. It’s just a plot line. They’re not really getting married,” Contactmusic quoted an insider as saying.

The wedding will be staged on a closed set with the entire The Hills cast in attendance.

Meanwhile, it has also been reported, that Montag will wear a dress designed by Monique Lhuillier for the big day and will be dripping in more than 1 million dollars of on-loan jewellery.

Her sister, Holly Montag, will serve as maid of honour with Pratt''s sister Stephanie as her bridesmaid. (ANI)
