Another Indian scores with Danny Boyle
The Indians went to the Oscars this year, all thanks to Danny Boyle and his `Slumdog Millionaire'.
His cast and crew owe the incredible director most of the fame and attention they are getting.
Now the British director has chosen a short film called `Manjha' to be part of his Blu-ray DVD release of `Slumdog Millionaire'.
The movie is directed by Rahi Anil Barve who is currently busy preparing for his directorial debut with WhiteCloud Pictures.
The film impressed Danny Boyle so much that he decided to choose it.
Danny has said, "I'm delighted to include `Manjha' on the Blu-ray DVD release of `Slumdog Millionaire' throughout the world. `Manjha' is an extraordinary film. With little Resources it is visually stunning, emotionally captivating, surprising and gripping, it's everything a short film should be, and I look forward with great anticipation to the Director Rahi's next project `Tumbad'."
`Tumbad' is based on folk tales of Maharashtra with an underlay of horror.
Other directors are praising Rahi's film too.
Anurag Kashyap, the creative producer of Rahi's film says, "Rahi Anil Barve is the most imaginative mind I have come across in this country so far. His imagination gives me a complex. When I met him the first time, it did not take me two seconds to say that lets do whatever you want to do which ever way you want to do it".
It seems this new talent has a lot to offer the cinematic world in the years to come. -Sampurn Media
