Gaza - A Palestinian was killed Saturday inside a smuggling tunnel which collapsed beneath the border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt, Palestinian medical sources said.

They said Hani Fujo, 23, died when the tunnel collapsed shortly after Israeli aircraft dropped bombs near the border town of Rafah.

Another Palestinian was injured and transferred to Abu Yousef al- Najjar hospital in the city.

Since launching its major offensive into Gaza in December, Israel has continued targeting tunnels. (dpa)
