R Systems International Ltd announced that the company has decided to pay money for two units of US-based Sento Corporation.

The company has bought the Netherlands-based Sento Europe BV and France-based Sento SAS (collectively known as Sento Europe) for an undisclosed amount, an official release said.

Rekhi Singh, CEO of R Systems said, “We are pleased to announce approval of the board of directors for the acquisition of Sento Europe. The combination will strategically compliment our iPLM business with a strong base in Europe, extend the breadth and depth of our offering, and will be accretive to our earnings in FY 2008.”

However, the transaction is subject to Sento board approval, execution of definitive agreements and corporate and regulatory approvals and it is anticipated that the acquisition will be completed before Jan. 15, 2008.

R Systems International Ltd. founded in 1993, is a software product development and BPO services company. It helps companies bring products and services to market quicker by using its proprietary pSuite execution framework. The company has multiple delivery centers spread across US (El Dorado Hills, CA & Salt Lake City, UT), India (Noida, Chennai & Pune) and Singapore. The firm had showed a net profit of Rs. 7 crore for the quarter ended September 2007 as against Rs. 6 crore in same quarter of last year.

On the other hand, Sento Europe with operations in Enschede, Netherlands and Metz, France, provides a wide range of integrated technical support and customer care services through multiple channels in 16 European languages. The firm has achieved revenues of approximately $14.85 million during the year ended March 2007.

The R System presently holds market cap worth Rs. 181 crore, PE Ratio of 14.86 ; EPS of 8.98 and BV of 109.57.

At 12:33 PM, the share was trading at Rs 133 on NSE, up 20 % compared with previous close of Rs. 111. About 675,819 shares exchanged hands on the counter. It touched intraday high of Rs 133 and low of Rs 114.
