No law permits to use derogatory remarks against anyone, says Nitish KumarPatna, Apr 7 : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday said that no law permits Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav to make derogatory remarks against any one.

"If anyone has given a wrong statement, legal action should be taken against him. But if anyone says that Lalu will crush Varun under a roller, no law permits this," said Kumar.

Lalu, against whom an FIR has been filed for his remarks, defended himself saying that he meant to politically and legally crush the people who try to communalize the atmosphere of the country.

"I mean to say that all forces who are communal and fascist will be politically and legally bulldozed. No body would be spared," Prasad said.

On Monday, Lalu said that he would have "crushed" Varun Gandhi under a roller for his anti-Muslim speeches, had he been the country''s Home Minister.

Varun Gandhi, a BJP leader, who got mired in a controversy for his hate speech allegedly delivered during an election campaign, is presently in judicial custody for his remarks.

The State Government of Uttar Pradesh has invoked stringent National Security Act (NSA) on Varun. (ANI)
