Nissan Motor begins marketing of Micra
Nissan Motor India has started marketing of its Micra. This car will be launched in the month of July this year. This is going to be included in the small car segment and is expected to come up as a competitor of the ‘People’s Car’ i.e. Tata Nano.
But its introduction is not going to be as big as Nano did. The company has started a mild marketing of the new car. This has been an initiative called "exposure marketing". The main aim of such marketing is to build brand awareness among consumers. The prospective buyers may ask for the insights of the product at the first look.
Special pavilions have been erected at the high footfall areas by the company. It has targeted shopping malls in different cities across the country for this purpose. There are interactive LCD displays at the pavilions.
The company has also arranged some of the kiosks inside the mall. It has managed to bring all their ideas to make the pre-launch activities a successful one.
