Nintendo comes up with educational devices

Nintendo comes up with educational devicesCan Nintendo cast the same spell which it did in the gaming arena, with its new device designed for educational institutions?

This seems to be the raging question which possibly could be running in the head of Shigeru Miyamoto, the 57 year old video game pundit and the founder of Nintendo.

The man behind the legendary gaming platform has the credentials of revolutionizing the world with ballistic releases such as Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda and Donkey Kong.

Miyamoto said that Nintendo's DS console was already in use by the officials at Japanese museums, galleries and aquariums. It will soon reveal the latest Nintendo DS system in junior high and elementary schools in Japan starting in the new school year.

This strategic move aimed at expanding the company's efforts in the ever-expanding audience for gaming consoles while also going in for other areas which provided opportunities.

Speaking on offering of motion sensitive controllers, Miyamoto further added that it was honoring the others including Sony, who has recently unveiled its PlayStation Move.

Nintendo will provide the right atmosphere for competition, he claimed.
