National Recovery Month being observed for 26th time

Chester County is celebrating National Recovery Month this September and several events and activities will be organized. Educational programs are being offered for individuals and families and the acclaimed documentary, The Anonymous People is also shown.
A mutual event that concentrates on veterans and their families will be held at the Coatesville Veterans Affairs Medical Center Campus on September 24. The VA celebration for recovery is expected to be full of fun and information and it consists of demonstrations as well as music, in addition to speakers and resources so as to assist in fill the gap between substance abuse treatment and mental health.
