Narendra Modi arrives in Delhi for talks with BJP brass
New Delhi, Dec 29: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi arrived here on Saturday morning to meet Central BJP leaders.
Modi was given a grand reception on his arrival at the airport by the Delhi Unit of the BJP. He then moved to senior party leader, L K Advani’s house.
Party General Secretary and in-charge of the Gujarat election Arun Jaitley, party President Rajnath Singh and other leaders including Jaswant Singh and Sushma Swaraj are also present at Advani’s house where a meeting is going.
There were speculations that Modi is expected to meet former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee later in the day, but according to some sources he will take a return flight to Gujarat.
This is Modi’s first visit to the Capital after being sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for a third time on December 25. (ANI)
