By using nano technology, now computers and internet can be run hundreds of times faster. Communication devices are going to be smaller, more flexible and more powerful by the help of this nano technology.

This has been informed by Dr. Koby Scheuer of Tel Aviv University's School of Electrical Engineering. He has said that the current technologies are here to stay for five or ten years in the future.

After that, it will be the era of nano technology. By applying such techniques, the size of the devices can reduced; the speed can be enhanced as well.

Dr. Koby Scheuer has developed a plastic-based technology for the nano-photonics market. It will manufacture optical devices and components in future. By the use of such in fibre optics cable switches, the size of the communication devices will be much smaller than that of the current device.

It will be more flexible and more powerful as per Scheuer. He has also said that all communication including telephone, cable TV, the Internet will go through it.
