One is certain of the fact that the 400th year of the much-popular Mysore Dasara procession is one of the most awaited events by the people of Karnataka. In fact, it is to be mentioned here that there are only 10 days left for the event wherein, the legendary Dasara Jamboo Savari, Mysore will be racing against the time. It is expected that the event will surely be a carnival of excitement and cultures.

While the intention is to promote Karnataka as a tourist destination in the local circuit, the fact of the matter is that with its blend of the ancient and modern cultures, the place is one of the best places to be in.
