'My Name is Khan' breaks records worldwideBollywood movie 'My Name Is Khan' featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol has broken many records on the box office to emerge as the most successful Bollywood film in British box office history and also in other parts of the world.

In the UK alone the film collected $1.4 million since its release on February 12. The distributor of the firm Star-Fox Vijay Singh was optimistic about the success of the film worldwide and indicated that the film will be released in a host of other languages.

He said that the company wants to expand the audience base beyond the Indian origin people in other countries and include people from other cultures.

"We went to 45 countries when it released on February 12. Now we plan to go to another 25 countries between March and June. In April we will launch 50 prints of MNIK in Poland with Polish subtitles."

He also expressed that the movie won't be dubbed in Arabic because the Indian films are already established there and the audience prefer the movies to be in Hindi. And for Poland he said that Bollywood films are known in the country and hence there is no need to dub it in the language instead a version with subtitles will be released.

The company saw huge reception being given to Shah Rukh in the German capital Berlin and decided to dub it in German and Turkish to reach wider audience. The company also said that the cultural requirements of the specific countries were taken into consideration.

"We don't see the international market as a spillover of the Indian market. We spent money in every market to set up the film keeping in mind the specifics," he added.
