The California-based company has made an image sensor using quantum dots instead of generally used silicon. As the company states its technology multiplies the sensor performance by more than four times. This means the ones who wish to click snaps at marriage or picturesque landscapes won't nab that they don't have a good camera.

This technology engages the use of Quantum which is a nanocrystal made of a special class of semiconductors. It doesn't allow light to pass and is commonly seen on solar cells as display markers.

Priced at par with CMOS battery it seeks to increase the performance not your budget.
