M&M completes pick-up testing
The growing global ambitions are certainly the one major pillar in the growth strategy of Anand Mahindra, Vice Chairman and MD, M&M for the times to come.
In fact, its launch of the pick-up trucks in the US market is one of the most awaited launches in today's time and if the recent news reports are to be believed then the automaker has passed all the tests that needed to be done before the products could pave their way into the American geographies.
However, the company still hasn't announced a formal date for the official launch of these products in the US but it may be noted here that the Mahindra's US importer has already missed two launch dates and is keeping his fingers crossed to get the regulatory approvals in time so that he don't miss the third.
Joe Perez, CEO of Mahindra's importer, Global Vehicles has declined to give any idea on the launch of these vehicles on the American soil citing the unwillingness of the Indian automaker to share any launch dates.
It is believed that 'chicken tax' has been the problem for Mahindra for quite some time now to get approvals on the launch of these smaller vehicles in the US market.
