Mindteck (India) Ltd, a global technology and IT services company has announced that the company has acquired US-based Infotech Consulting for USD 21 million. 

Infotech Consulting, a multi-disciplined technology services firm based in pennsylvania, US with estimated revenue of $31 million as of December 31, 2007, employs over 250 people in the US. The company has a large commercial and governmental customer base and significant expertise in Business Application Consulting (BAC), and Security Infrastructure and Managed Services (SIM),

While, Bangalore-based, Mindteck specializes in embedded systems, business applications consulting, enterprise consulting, SAP and security. The company currently has revenues of $ 21.1 million and with these acquisitions is looking at a topline of $ 75 million by end of the current fiscal.

Mindtech has paid $1.5 million in cash for the deal and the rest was through the offer of around 785,000 shares at Rs.98 ($2.5) per share.

At 10:40 am, Mindtech was quoting at Rs 62, up Rs 3.40, or 5.82%. It has touched an intraday high of Rs 64.10 and an intraday low of Rs 58.50.
