MiG-21aircraft crashes, pilots eject safely
New Delhi, Nov 12 : A MiG-21 (Trainer) aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed near Chabua village of Tinsukia district of Assam around 10:35 a. m. today.
The aircraft had got airborne from Chabua air base and was on a routine training-flying mission.
The pilots Squardon Leader Supandeep and Flying Officer Nanda the two pilots of the MIG jet aircraft, ejected safely.
There were minor damage to cultivated field and no individual was injured/killed as a result of air crash.
An inquiry has been ordered to investigate the reasons for the accident. (ANI)
