Microsoft launches CRM 4.0 software

Microsoft launches CRM 4.0 software In a move to provide efficient business management solutions, Microsoft India Pvt. Ltd, today launched customer relationship management (CRM) software, CRM 4.0 in the market. The software, in the midst of global financial crisis, would prove extremely beneficial for corporate world to optimize their productivity, profitability, infrastructure and their budgets.

Sushant Dwivedy, Microsoft India Director (Business Solutions) said, "With customer service and loyalty becoming increasingly critical to business success, our CRM solution assists organizations place their customers at the centre of all their business activities."

Indian insurance and the IT/ITeS segment is expected to make efficient use of CRM 4.0 as it is capable enough to optimize costs and streamline their customer relationship management. A study, conducted by Forrester Research forecasts that the CRM software and services market would grow to USD 10.9 billion in 2010 as compared to USD 8.4 billion in 2006.
