Micromax launches new Canvas 3D A115
Leading Indian handset maker, Micromax has announced the launch of its much anticipated Canvas 3D A115 smartphone in the Indian market.
The new model in the popular Canvas series of smartphones supports 3D and supports 5-inch touch screen. The smartphone runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1GHz dual core processor. The new A115 Canvas 3D smartphone, which is successor to its quad-core device Canvas HD A116 is believed to have a 3D-enabled camera.
The company claims that the new model offers improved quality graphics, multi-tasking and better application performance. The device comes with a 5.0MP rear camera with auto focus and a 0.3MP front camera for video conferencing.
Micromax claims that the mAh battery of the smartphone offers a talk-time of 4.5 hours. The memory of the smartphone can be expanded upto 32 GB. As for connectivity options, the smartphone comes with Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi. The users can also access `Micromax 3D Space' allowing them to play 3D videos and pre-loaded 3D games. The device will also offer faster browsing, downloading attachments and watching streaming videos with 3D quality to the users.
The new Micromax Canvas 3D A115 smartphone will come with a price tag of Rs. 9999 and will be available across the country from the first week of May, 2013.
