A Special Edition of the blockbuster saloon from Mercedes-Benz India - Special Edition E-Class - has been launched exclusively to cater to the Indian markets! The automaker intends producing just 192 of these cars, which have been tailored to meet Indian style preferences, in order to maintain the car's distinctiveness!

To be retailed on demand through Mercedes-Benz dealerships across India, the Special Edition E-Class will cost Rs. 43.4 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi, and the colourrange will include Carneol Red, Calcite White, Obsidian Black, Iridium Silver, Cubanite Silver, and Tenorite Grey.

The key feature of the limited number of `Special Edition' models would be a 3-liter diesel engine together with additionally-designed and spruced-up style enhancements to accentuate the Mercedes-Benz merchandise.

A couple of other first-time features coming up in the Special Edition E-Class include the sporty 17-inch 5-double-spoke light-alloy wheels; and the attractive LED technology tail-lights, with 160 milliseconds faster reaction time for the trailing vehicles to increase safety.
