Mumbai-based IT solutions and services company Mastek has announced that the company has won a strategic contract for its Elixir solution with Legal & General in UK.

Under the terms of the agreement, Mastek will implement its Elixir software for the administration of some of Legal & General's products in the UK.

However, no financial details were provided by the company.

Mastek Limited provides various software solutions and integration services worldwide. It engages in the design, development, integration, and maintenance of business applications.

Earlier this month, Mastek had acquired the US headquartered Systems Task Group (STG) International Ltd., an IP-based enterprise solutions provider to the North American property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry, through its wholly owned US subsidiary, MajescoMastek, in an all-cash deal worth $29 million (around Rs 116 crore).

Shares of the company declined Rs 4.95, or 1.99%, to settle at Rs 243.9. It touched an intraday high of Rs 261 and low of Rs 234.
