Maruti ready to increase its production level
The largest car producer of India, Maruti Suzuki has informed that it is planning to increase its production capacity up to 70,000 units this year. This has been reported in the company official report released recently.
Chief Executive Officer of Maruti Suzuki, V. Rao has informed that the company is trying to prevent unproductive operations in their manufacturing plants.
They have targeted to scale up to 70,000 additional cars in this current year to satisfy customers need in the market. Their capacity expansion of the plant is going to be completed by 2012.
Moreover he has also informed that the company has a long list of cars to be supplied. Cars like Swift Desire and Swift is not available in the market for the time being. There will be a growth up to 10-12 % in the car market this fiscal year according to industrial survey.
Maruti Suzuki have already passed one million car production last year and looking at the customers demand they have to produce 100000 more cars this year.
