The largest passenger car maker of country, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, has launched an advanced version of its popular sports utility vehicle the Grand Vitara, in the India market.

The model, loaded with variable valve timing engine, will cost around Rs16.67 lakh and Rs17.97 lakh in Delhi. It supports 4-mode, 4-wheel drive new Grand Fitara 2.4 with disc brakes to provide additional safety dimension. Its engine, having torque of 225 NM at 4000 rpm, is designed to deliver a maximum power of 163.5 bhp at 6000 rpm.

The vehicle supports 2 .4 features a new Multi Information Display (MID), new front grille and front bumper the 17-inch alloy wheels to provide attractive look. It is provided with a centre speaker coupled with a 6-CD changer and loaded with new mechanism to reduce noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) levels.
