Maruti to launch limited edition Ritz

Maruti to launch limited edition Ritz While Maruti has been losing its sheen as far as the small car king crown goes, but the challenge has been keeping the company on its toes.

In fact, after launching CNG variants in its five models in the portfolio along with the Alto K10 and automatic A-Star, the company has a plan to launch the limited edition of Ritz in the domestic market.

It has been learned that the company is looking to introduce close to 5,000 units of the limited edition product, which is based on the current Vxi and Vdi versions.

It is to be mentioned here that the new limited editions will be priced at Rs 4.52 lakh and Rs 5.31 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which will be a little expensive as compare to the existing Rs 4.36 lakh and Rs 5.15 lakh for Vxi and Vdi versions, respectively.

Maruti Suzuki India Chief General Manager (Marketing) Shashank Srivastava said that the company has received a very god response for the Ritz and it is expecting a similar response for the limited edition product.

It may be recalled here that the Ritz was launched in May 2009.
