A man accused of stalking the American Idol host Ryan Seacrest has been sentenced for two years of imprisonment and has been ordered to stay away from Ryan for next 10 years.

The 26 year old man named Chidi Uzomah was accused of this allegation did not speak a single word during his hearing.

He was in jail since June 2009 after his arrest.

He was stopped by the security at the cable network "E!" in Los Angeles where Ryan was recording a show and then arrested.

The man was already accused of attacking the bodyguards of Ryan. Last year Uzomah was found guilty of carrying a knife at a charity event in Orange County. Ryan has claimed that Uzomah had been carrying a knife last year in one of his show.

Along with the two years of imprisonment Uzomah has been ordered to stay 500 yards away from Ryan and his work stations for next 10 years.

Ryan aged 35 is a very well known radio and television personality and he is best known for hosting the music show American Idol and E! News.
