Malik satisfied with team''s ODI performance in 2008
Karachi, Dec 18 : Satisfied with his team''''s performance this year, Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik has said that his team performed well in One-Day Internationals
(ODIs) in 2008.
"We didn''''t play any Tests this year, but our performance in one-day games was good," The News quoted Malik as saying.
The team did feature in 21 ODIs and won 18 of them. Pakistan also won a triangular tournament in Bangladesh, involving India and the hosts. This year, twelve of Pakistan''''s ODI wins came against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.
"As captain, I''''m satisfied with my team''''s performance this year. Most of our players did well in whatever matches, we played in 2008," he said.
Malik, who was pleased with his own form in the ongoing domestic contest, hopes to continue it in next year. (ANI)
