Malaysian man killed for hogging karaoke microphone
Kuala Lumpur - A Malaysian man was stabbed to death for hogging the microphone at a karaoke club in the eastern state of Sabah on Borneo Island, a news report said Thursday.
Abdul Sani Doli, 23, angered fellow customers at the karaoke bar late Wednesday night when he refused to give up his turn and continued singing despite protests, said district police chief Rosli Mohamad Isa.
A heated argument with three other customers then developed into an exchange of blows, leading to Abdul Sani being stabbed in the chest outside the club, Rosli was quoted as saying by The Star Online.
The victim was believed to have staggered a short distance before collapsing on the walkway outside the bar, he said.
Rosli said two suspects had been arrested and remanded in custody. (dpa)
