Madras Mozart Rahman Losses Golden Globe AwardAce music director and Oscar winner, AR Rahman missed the chance to pocket 2011 Golden Globe Awards, which was declared on Jan 16 in Beverly Hills, California.

The Chennai-based composer was nominated under the 'Best Original Score' group for his super-hit song in Danny Boyle's '127 Hours', which bagged the Critics' Choice Award for best original song on Jan 14.

The prize for Best Original Score in 2011 Golden Globe goes to "The Social Network".

In the year 2008, Rahman pocketed the Oscar Award, Golden Globe and two Academy Awards for his musical score in Danny Boyle's mega-hit flick 'Slumdog Millionaire'.

After Slumdog Millionaire, this was the second time at Hollywood's second most esteemed annual movie prize for the Indian film composer, record creator, musician and singer.

Previously, Rahman had pocketed the Best Critics Choice Award for the Best Original Song 'If I Rise' (127 hours), a group effort between Rahman and pop star Dido.
