Mac gets a hands on Kindle

Mac gets a hands on KindleEbook reader provider Amazon has released Kindle for Mac. This gives a hint to the understanding that now one can read Kindle books on devices including iPhone, PC, Blackberry etc.

Kindle for Mac works on the same concept of scroll-wheel of mouse or the arrow keys for hovering on the pages. One can view notes and bookmarks of other synced devices, but he/she is refrained from creating new ones (a limitation common with the PC version as well).

One major demerit, which was highlighted during testing the app, is the use of special panel for the zooming options. This tends to leave a blank in the text after it has been closed.

It appears to be the final version until one opens the "about" box to acknowledge that it's the beta version. Nonetheless it is a measure that provides an ease way of reading in the Mac platform. As the Mac version comes in the market it boosts the popularity of Amazon and seeks to enter in with a vision of capturing the entire market share.
