Larsen and Toubro's (L&T) Buildings and Factories Operating Company, part of its construction division, has received orders worth Rs 1440 crore for constructing residential towers, township and factory buildings.

The company has bagged new orders aggregating to Rs 1294 crore for building residential towers and township from top developers and esteemed customers.

In a declaration, the company said that most of the above orders have been pocketed on a design and build basis.

Further, orders aggregating to Rs 146 crore have been secured from different esteemed customers comprising add on orders from the ongoing factory jobs

These orders further boost the company's order book position it has already secured for major design and build contracts in airports, IT parks and commercial space.

The company has a commanding market share in these sections.
