Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Infotech has signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract with German semiconductor manufacturer, Infineon Technologies AG (IFX).

Under the arrangement, L&T Infotech will operate, maintain and develop SAP solutions within Infineon's enterprise landscape and provide these services out of Germany, Singapore and India.

A company official commenting on latest order win said, L&T Infotech will leverage its long-standing experience in global SAP support, its technology capabilities and knowledge of semi-conductor and hi-tech industries to optimise Infineon's IT operations, enhance operational efficiency and support Infineon's IT technology roadmap.

L&T Infotech, which is the unlisted technology arm of Rs 40,480-crore engineering and construction conglomerate L&T, however refused to divulge the size of the contract.
