Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has informed that it has secured various orders worth Rs 1,044 crore for electrical projects in Gulf countries.

The company has bagged orders for the construction of electrical substations from Qatar Petroleum, Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA), Oman Electricity & Transmission Company (OETC) and Qatar's General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA).

L&T has received first order worth Rs 737 crore from Qatar Petroleum for the construction of four substations, the work for which needs to be completed in 32 months.
The second order, which is valued at Rs 96 crore has been secured by the company from KAHRAMAA, Qatar, for the construction of one substation.

The third and fourth order, which are valued at Rs 115 crore and Rs 96 crore respectively, have been picked from DEWA and OETC for the construction of one substation each.
