Long hours in office increase heart problems
Life is precious so is the heart and all of us know liquor and cigarettes may cause heart problems. But recent studies have added something new to that list and that is long hours in office. Heart problems may increased by 60% if someone works for 10 hours or more. It may cause mild or severe heart attacks.
University College London has researched to establish the link between over time working and heart problems by taking coronary heart problem for their first phase and found that it was free from the regular list of suspect reasons like smoking, drinking, cholesterol etc.
The second phase research was on track from 1985 and continued with third phase from 1991 with increase of working hours for the middle aged volunteers of office staffs of London.
After a long research it was originated that there were 369 cases of heart attacks found in volunteers who have worked for long time in comparison with them who have worked normal hours. This proves the 60% more vulnerability towards heart diseases in case of spending more hours in office.
